Boston By Foot Presents: The Bulfinch Triangle

BOSTON, Mass., June 13, 2007 - Boston By Foot, Inc. announces its June event in its "Tour of the Month" series of architectural and historical walking tours of Boston will be the Bulfinch Triangle on June 24, 2007.

Bulfinch Triangle

The Bulfinch Triangle is one of Boston's oldest landfill projects, planned by and named for the influential Boston architect, Charles Bulfinch. The guided walk includes the 19th century Mill pond, where Benjamin Franklin swam, to the new Rose Kennedy Greenway. This historic neighborhood has seen dramatic changes and it currently undergoing another revival.

Tour Information

The 90 minute walking tour begins July 29, 2:00pm, from Portal Park on Causeway Street, to the right of the TD Bank North Garden. Nearest T-stop: North Station (Green & Orange lines).
